Leopard Coat!

Hey y’all! I had been wanting a leopard coat for the longest time and so had my mema, so my mom got us these leopard coats! This coat is also currently on sale! For size reference, I am wearing a size six. This coat is different because it is more of a denim material, not fur. The colors are also different from the normal leopard coat. This would be such a cute spring coat!  Since the coat is a pretty big statement, I kept the rest of my outfit pretty simple. I just have some old blue jeans on from Aeropostale and this black sweater from Banana sweater that I do not recommend because it is wool so it irritates. For jewelry, I am wearing these earrings and for shoes, I am wearing these black flats.

How cute is my mema in her leopard coat!

I hope you guys enjoyed this outfit and post! Thank you so much for reading this post, and I hope you have a great day!!

Weekly Recap Post #9

Hey everyone! I am so sorry I only posted once last week. This week I am going to try and post a whole lot more. If you read last week’s post you would have seen that I posted a weekly recap post. I am going to start to post a new weekly recap post every Monday, so that is what today’s post is. If you want to read the first weekly recap post, click here! I also wanted to tell you guys about my new blog schedule, and yes I know I just changed it back in January. On Mondays I will be posting a Weekly Recap Posts, Wednesdays will be a fashion/beauty post, and Fridays will be a lifestyle/miscellaneous post!  So… let’s start recapping my week of February 19-25, 2018!!!

Monday Motivational Quote: Dreams don’t work unless you do.

On Monday I had a hair appointment where I just got a few highlights around my face.

After getting my hair highlighted, my mom and I went to Chick-fil-a because we had two coupons we wanted to use. One of them was from getting the Chick-fil-a calender and one was from the app. Next year you should definitely get the calendar! The offers are so great. You should also download the Chick-fil-a app, it also has great offers! This is not sponsored by Chick-fil-a by the way, just love going there!

Tuesday was not too exciting, but I did go to tennis.

On Wednesday, I had a meeting with one of my neighbors who is a real estate agent. I helped her with some stuff on the computer. That night I went out to eat at Pappa’s Brother’s Steakhouse with my mom and our neighbors. We were there to celebrate my mom and our neighbor’s birthdays. The food was really good!

For dessert, I got the New York style cheesecake. It was so big!

Here was the outfit I wore.

Thursday, my mom and I went out to celebrate her birthday with another neighbor (the one who is the real estate agent)! We went to The Palm, and it was pretty good! I also found out that I won Pink Einstien’s giveaway!

This was the dessert my mom and I got! It was the doughnut holes with chocolate and raspberry sauce! Very yummy!

Friday was also not too exciting. My mom and I just got Chick-fil-a for breakfast, and then later in the afternoon, we had some errands to run at the mall.

Saturday was my mom’s birthday!!  In the morning my dad and I volunteered and helped repair a home that was affected by Hurricane Harvey. After we got home we got cleaned up then relaxed for a while before going over to Highland Village, which is a shopping center in Houston. We had to return a pillow from Pottery Barn, and then after that, we got dinner at Escalante’s.

On Sunday my mom and I had a spa afternoon which was so fun! We got facials, our eyebrows waxed, manicures, and pedicures for my mom’s birthday. We went to Nordstrom’s spa, so we were able to order food from Nordstrom’s restaurant, and they even brought it down!

This is the fresh berry and fig salad with no fig. It is so good, and I finally have proof on my blog that I do eat healthy sometimes lol!

This is THE bread pudding! It is my favorite bread pudding of all time! I was even able to eat this while getting a pedicure while watching One Tree Hill on my phone, Heaven!
This is the color I got on my fingers and toes. I thought it was a fun, summery hot pink color!

I have seen other bloggers share their current things they are reading, watching, etc., so I thought I would share mine like Dorothy from I thought this could also be a way for y’all to get to know me better and know what I am into each week.

Reading: I finished P.S. I Still Love You, which is the second book in the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series.  Now, I am reading the third and final book in the series, Always and Forever, Lara Jean. Click on any of the titles of the books to view it on Amazon if you want to get a closer look or buy it.

Watching: way too much One Tree Hill.

Wearing: these flip-flops.

Loving:  this Dior foundation compact. I used to use it all the time then stopped and now I am back at it. I am still not sure whether I love it or if it is just okay.

Eating: lots of fancy meals. This week I was lucky enough to get to go to two fancy steakhouses to celebrate my mom’s birthday.

Favorite memories of this week: winning Pink Einstein’s giveaway, getting to go to fancy restaurants to celebrate my mom, volunteering for the first time, and having a spa day!

I hope y’all enjoyed this post! Please let me know what your favorite memory of this last week was. Thank you so much for reading this post, and I hope you have a great week!

Weekly Round Up #8

Happy Monday! Last week I was reading McKenzie’s Weekly Wrap Up post and was totally inspired to write my own! You should definitely read her blog here! I was also inspired by Dorthy from her blog prepinyourstep, and I was also just inspired by everyone else I have seen write these posts. I know the title of this posts says that it is the eighth one, but that is to say which week of the year it is. I thought that would be fun to do to see what I was doing at the same time of each year. So let’s start recapping the week of February 12-18, 2018! This week was filled with lots of fun events, so not every week will be this exciting. If I don’t mention it on each day’s part of each post every school day I do school and every day I walk dogs and pet sit.

I thought I would start each one of these posts with a quote, so this week’s quote is:

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

Monday was a little boring with just school work and dog walking. The day was definitely brightened with a Yasso. Yassos are amazing! They are healthy greek yogurt bars that are around 100 calories! I also found out my Jadelynn Brooke code that day. Use my code  ENHS   for 15% off at checkout on Jadelynn Brooke’s website. If you use my code, DM me proof that you did and I will send you free stickers!

Tuesday/Galentine’s Day was started off by a Galentine’s Brunch at one of my favorite breakfast restaurants, White Oak kitchen. Emma Eats posts about White Oak kitchen should be coming soon!

For the post about this outfit click here!

I also went to tennis today and got Nothing Bundt Cakes afterward! Yum!

Wednesday/Valentine’s Day was started by opening a sweet gift from my parents! My mom and I also went to Chick-fil-a for breakfast to get the heart shaped container with chicken minis. The Chick-fil-a we went to sadly didn’t have the heart-shaped container, so we just got regular chicken minis.

This was the shirt I wore on valentine’s day with a tennis skirt. For the post with details about this outfit click here.

My dad also made this yummy green goddess zucchini pasta. The recipe was from this cookbook.

I just added some tomatoes to it, because in my mind cherry tomatoes make just about everything better.

My mom and I also went over to Nordstrom’s to look at shoes, and we were literally the last people to leave the store. We had such a hard time finding shoes that fit us. The person on the intercom kept saying stuff I bet to get us to go lol. I ended Valentine’s Day by watching some One Tree Hill (#addicted) and eating my red velvet bundt cake in bed. Heaven.

Thursday my mom and I had hair appointments to get our hair treated with oil and done up at the Sisley counter at Saks Fifth Avenue. This event was for Sisley’s new hair care line. Our appointments were moved an hour later, so the some of the ladies at Saks were nice and did my makeup too!

Later that night my mom and I went to the happy hour our apartment complex was hosting.

Friday I has a sleepover with Shelby who has a blog you should definitely check out here! We had so much fun hanging out, painting our nails (Mine turned out horrible per usual. Not becoming a nail artist anytime soon lol), watching the Olympics, and making homemade ice cream!

Saturday was spent unpacking with this cutie, going to lunch at Grottos, going shopping at Vineyard Vines, watching way too much One Tree Hill, and going over to the Nordstrom Spa to book some appointments!

The cookies Grottos gives after your meal

Sunday was spent having lunch with my grandparents to celebrate my grandpa’s 70th Birthday and my mom’s birthday! Both of their birthdays are this week!

How cute are my grandparents!

I hope you guys had a great week, and have a great week this week! Please let me know if you enjoyed this post. I am thinking of starting to do these weekly recap posts instead of the monthly diary recap posts, so defintley let me know what you think. Thank you so much for reading!

How to Brighten up a Winter Day…

with a hot pink shirt, of course!  Hey y’all, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY💗💗 Today I am showing y’all this adorable pink ruffle shirt that is at a great price! This shirt is such a cute way to brighten up a gloomy, winter day or this would be perfect for a sunny, spring day. I  picked this shirt up at the BP section at Nordstrom for only $25! This shirt is a little bit cropped, and has the cutest ruffles on it! For size reference, I am wearing a size XS. This shirt is such a bright pink that you will probably want to wash this alone. You may also want to not put this shirt in the dryer, so it doesn’t shrink up. I am also wearing my favorite white jeans which I just cuffed at the ends. For accessories, I am wearing these old black sunglasses that I don’t think is available anymore, but here is a similar pair under $10. I know it doesn’t look like I am but I am wearing shoes lol. I am wearing these black flats, but sandals would also be cute with this outfit too!

I  hope you guys enjoyed this post, and that you have a great Valentine’s Day! Thank you so much for reading this post!

Valentine’s Day Outfit Inspiration

Hi there! Happy Monday. For today’s post, I am giving you an outfit idea for Valentine’s Day, and how you can use what you already have to recreate this look!

I love this outfit, and it is even easy to replicate if you don’t have the exact items.I think this outfit would be great for whatever you have planned for Valentine’s Day! For this off-the-shoulder pink sweater that is so cute, I got it here. This sweater can be worn off-the-shoulder or not, and I also just cuffed the wrists. I got it in a size small, so it is a little bit baggier.  To duplicate this you can just wear a pink sweater. For my jeans, I am just wearing old jeggings from Aeropostale which I just cuffed at the ankles, but you can wear any blue skinny jeans for this look. For accessories, you can do whatever you want. I choose to wear these super fun earrings that I sadly couldn’t find online (similar here) and this leopard belt which I love! To compliment my belt I am wearing these leopard flats. They are great and less than $12!

I hope you guys liked this outfit, and have a great week! What are your plans for Valentine’s Day? I don’t have anything in particular, but the heart-shaped pizzas I think from Papa Johns look so cute and yummy lol! Thank you so much for reading this post!

The January Diaries

Hi there! Happy February! Is it just me or was January just like hi, bye! Today’s post is going to be my monthly diaries post for January! January wasn’t a super eventful month, so this post may be a little short.

Starting this post off with the first Instagram post of 2018. My parents, grandparents (on my mom’s side), and I also had our annual New Year’s Day meal.
I applied to become a Jadelynn Brooke High School Ambassador!

I was sick with I think the flu for a week, so that was not fun. I did become obsessed with Hart of Dixie while I was sick, so that was fun!

I got this waffle maker and had so much fun making waffles two times this month.
We got snow/ice!
I tried my first spin class and really liked it. I have already done another one!
I am so excited to announce that I became a Jadelynn Brooke High School Ambassador for the spring semester! I will do an official post whenever I get my first happy box!

I had to go to my grandma on my dad’s side her funeral, so that was really sad.

I ended the month by getting a doughcone! Doughcone is a food truck in Houston where they serve a doughnut cone filled with a strawberry at the bottom, either Nutella or Biscoff, vanilla ice cream, and unlimited toppings! They are really good but definitely a treat and not an everyday food.
